Battle of the Divisions

The First Annual "Battle of the Divisions" Tournament

Date: December 4th 

Overview:  Any team from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday regardless of how they finished in the regular season or any playoff night can enter this fantastic weekend tournament.  Seeding format, prizes, and roster stipulations are listed below. 

Location: The greatest place to play dodgeball on earth.

Start Time: Saturday 10:00 or 11:00 AM start depending on registrations (might be Friday or play might go until Sunday).

Finish Time:  5:00 or 6:00 depending on registrations, could go later.

Cost: (some of which will be put towards facility rental, the rest into the cash pot)

Prize:  Cash for Top Four teams (final percentage based on registrations) Example: 50-30-10-10.

Trophy:  To the winner. The winning team has it until next year's event (Stanley Cup Style)

Rosters:  The roster of the team entered MUST reflect a roster from either the Spring 2010 or Fall 2010, or Summer 2010.  No combination rosters from different teams or seasons are allowed.  Roster players must have played in at least 3 regular season matches to be eligible for this tournament.  All players must wear their matching team shirts

Bracket:  To be decided by a combination of random draw, playoff results, & regular season standings.  However, no team will play a team from it's own division in the first round. 

Drawing:  Will take place the week of the event at a place TBD.

Elimination Format:  Double Elimination, best of 7, 3-minute games.
