Spring Outlook & New Play Format

Spring season is always a blast at PDL!  The warm weather smiles transition to good times on the court each year.  We've switched up a few rules this season to increase activity on the court and to maximize exercise for the players.
1)  16 Games per night
2) Playoffs without a clock (teams must get everyone out to be victorious)
3 ) Points Structure in the regular season (3 pts complete victory, 1 pt partial victory, .5 pt for a tie per team)
We hope everyone enjoys this dodgeball revelation as we strive to make the leagues better for all who play.
Yours on the dodgeball court,
PDL Staff

Spring & Summer League Rates & Format

Dodgeball Enthusiasts,
Spring is rapidly approaching!  Through our loyal usage of the Breakwater School and the ingenious number crunching format wizard Rich we've developed a way for folks to play more dodgeball for less money in the Spring & Summer.  We've shortened the season by one night, added more total games each night for those warm weather dodging diehards, and are simulataneously able to offer a lower team price of $325!  Those that play year round with us and those who may start will benefit from this new format starting in April!  Any questions please check out the division pages and/or contact us!

Say What? Refresh yourself on the old school terms!

Scamper:  After throwing a ball at the center line, the act of back peddling as fast as possible upon seing several members of the opposing team charging towards you with balls in hand.  To "Scamper" in Fear.

Hunker Down:  The action of squatting in order to make yourself as small as possible.

The Terminator:   Methodically walking towards the center line with a blocker ball held straight out.  The player does not ever move the blocker ball.  He/She just terminates the balls coming in their direction.
